[Hal isn't sure what wakes him first, the tittering birds outside the bedroom window or the warm sunlight falling into his eyes. Rolling over, he sits up with a bleary grunt, rubbing sleep from his eyes as he pads his way toward the bathroom.
Well. He would have headed that way, had there not been a bureau blocking him. The impact almost knocks the wind from him, a sudden surprise in the otherwise normal morning. Picture frames topple over against the wood, the resulting sound causing the bed's other occupant to stir and sit up.
He doesn't hear her question at first, too caught up in his sudden fixed study of the photographs.]
What the fuck?

"Yes, Operator, this is Hal Jordan- I need to place a call to Ferris Aircraft in Coast City, California. C'mon, Tom, be there early... Could you hurry? This is an emergency."
[ Action 2 | Fire Station | Early Afternoon ]
["Officially freaked out now" doesn't really cut it. Hal forces himself to keep busy just to occupy his mind, which means for the time he's elbow-deep in the company truck's engine, patching a radiator leak. He probably should have taken off his newly-acquired wedding band, giving the yellow gold a nice scratch when he accidentally bangs it against the engine block. The house had been turned upside down in his search for his power ring, a valiant but fruitless effort. Glaring darkly at his ring, he mutters gloomily,]
